The AE project contains everything to easily add new game footage, clear logos, background wallpaper for behind the game footage and music (or mute and use the game's audio) without needing to make too many adjustments aside from some minor tweaks here and there. Anyway I hope people enjoy these for their own setups. I will try and add other things too, but I have lots of other projects I'm working on, as well, so we will have to see on that. It contains all of the assets used to complete this first video and the project file should be plug and play for any other AE users out there that might want to add to whatever I don't get up here myself. That said, I have also attached my After Effects project file in this post. However, my collection only consists of 17 games, so the "complete" collection from me is going to be far from it. in addition to better VGA graphics cards.I decided to start a 'unified' set of themes for ScummVM. One of the classics with true 3D graphics that pushed games onto CDs and thousands of PC owners to buy CD players for their PCs. Have to remind myself the game was made for a '386 DOS (or Win3.1) PC with mouse, 3D graphics acceleration, and SoundBlaster with Midi support at the time just before Win95 was released. I can move the funky T7G cursor around in short jumps using the "D" pad, hunting for the "hot spots" but it's more work than it's worth. If you've played the game on a PC much, you should remember where the "hot spots" are for movement. Tap again if it all it does is move the cursor there (occasionally happens). Just tap the screen with the stylus where you want to go and basically forget about the cursor. The iPaq mono speaker (and I suspect other PDA/SmartPhone) speakers are not the best. It's a known and documented "need" for the WinCE port. The various cursors show up, but look like "line-art" versions. The T7G cursor will be funky looking as the WinCE port doesn't support custom color-pallet cursors yet. Rolfkunst wrote:I have the Ipaq 214 also with a VGA so it shouldn't be a problem. Overall I'm extremely impressed with the WinCE port! If you do something "dumb" and the program won't start, simply dump the extra configuration files that get created during ScummVM setup (on its configuration screen), and start over. Visited ScummVM configuration a few times to set volumes, and tweak a couple other things. you get music, but it's not the best and I'll post another thread about Midi in general. The HP iPaq 210/211 have a 640x480 screen that works well. Started up ScummVM2, pointed it to the T7G folder, and Bob's Your Uncle. See the Wiki for files needed and how to create the pair of MP3s. including the pair of MP3 files needed for intro and ending music (these need to be "ripped" from the original CD nice but not essential). Then I created a directory inside the ScummVM program directory for T7G and loaded all the files used by 7th Guest for the WinXP version of ScummVM. Everything runs just fine from it for me. and strongly recommend *not* installing ScummVM in main on-board memory. I installed ScummVM on the SDHC card, not in main PDA memory. The HP iPaq has two flash drive slots, one for an SD(HC) card and the other for a Compact Flash drive (I use both slots). Runs about the same as I remember it did originally on a '386 DOS machine I had 15 years ago (other than the Midi playback). but I've been playing it in ScummVM on a high end desktop and laptop (high speed dual-core processors with substantial video graphics horsepower). Runs a bit slower than I'm accustomed to. Installed ScummVM 0.13.1 per the pair of "sticky" tutorials, created a shortcut to ScummVM2 (the one that handles Groovie). I have an iPaq 211 (aka 210) PDA with Win Mobile 6.x (Classic) and it runs OK. Rolfkunst wrote:First of all, how dit you manage to get t7g to work with windows Mobile 6? There was somewhat of a storm happening in the week that we were at Milos and on this side of the island the water was rough. It was like walking on the moon, the stones were so smooth to walk on. I’ve seen this beach on so many pictures, but they didn’t do justice to how beautiful it actually looks in real life. You can rent a beach hut here and have drinks at the bar. This beach is known for its red, yellow, pink rocks and lively atmosphere. It’s as scary as it sounds, specially because I’m afraid of heights In the end it was all worth it! If you just go down slow and with more people, you will be fine!Ĭlose to Tsigrado is another beach called Fyriplaka. To get to this beach you need to climb down a cliff while holding on to a rope and then go down a ladder. Normally during the summer there are over 30 people on this tiny beach, we were super lucky we came during low season. The water here was insane and we were the only ones on the beach. Surprisingly they are super tameĪfter discovering all these beautiful fishing villages we went of to look for some beaches! Which are not hard to find since there are over 70 beaches on Milos. There were so many cats everywhere, for me it was paradise playing with all of them! The locals leave water and food for them all over the island and its nice that they get to roam freely. The islands traffic was really relaxed and I would say the best way to travel would be by quad, you get to visit places a car wouldn’t be able to drive to. The next day we went off to explore the fisherman towns. It was amazing! Definitely recommend taking a boat tour in Milos. So our first day we spend on a boat tour discovering some of the hidden beaches only accessible by boat. She was super friendly and we decided to book a tour straight away. While walking on the dock in Adamas we met Alesandra from Eleni Sailboat Milos. Adamas & Plaka were my favorites, in Adamas there were lots of places to eat (with gorgeous views) and we decided to eat somewhere else every night. There are seven towns in Milos Adamas, Triovassalos, Pera Triovassalos, Tripiti, Plakes, Plaka, Zefiria and Pollonia. We had the most beautiful room with a stunning view on Adamas. Book in advance!! We booked a nice place in Adamas called Faros Apartments. They picked us up from the airport and helped us rent a quad 5 minutes within arriving. there are not a lot of hotels or places to stay. One thing you should know before going to Milos. We arrived at the smallest airport I have ever seen, we were out in exactly one minute. While we were landing I still couldn’t believe I was actually going to get to explore Milos!! We booked tickets to Athens and found a cheap connecting flight to the tiny island Milos (only 3o min away). I wasn’t feeling so sure about what the weather would be like, but we just went for it. The tickets that I found were for mid October which is low season. Milos was on top of my list, it had many hidden gems and wasn’t super touristic. I’ve always wanted to visit Greece, when I would see pictures of the Crystal clear waters it reminded me of Aruba. Carbon dioxide has a sharp and acidic odor and generates the taste of soda water in the mouth. It is present in deposits of petroleum and natural gas. Because carbon dioxide is soluble in water, it occurs naturally in groundwater, rivers and lakes, ice caps, glaciers and seawater. Natural sources include volcanoes, hot springs and geysers, and it is freed from carbonate rocks by dissolution in water and acids. The current concentration is about 0.04% (412 ppm) by volume, having risen from pre-industrial levels of 280 ppm. It occurs naturally in Earth's atmosphere as a trace gas. A designer named Amiruddin Kidwai studied the League’s flag, as he tried to design a flag for a new, independent nation. It is flown on several important days of the year including Republic Day and Independence Day. The flag is referred to in the national anthem as Urdu: پرچم ستارہ و هلال Parcham-e-Sitāra-o-Hilāl (lit. The flag was designed by Amiruddin Kidwai, and is based on the All-India Muslim League flag. Though the green color is mandated only as 'dark green', its official and most consistent representation is Pakistan green, which is shaded distinctively darker. The flag is a green field with a white crescent moon and five-rayed star at its center, and a vertical white stripe at the hoist side. It was afterwards retained by the current-day Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The national flag of Pakistan (Urdu: پاکستان کا قومی پرچم) was adopted in its present form during a meeting of the Constituent Assembly on August 11, 1947, just three days before the country's independence, when it became the official flag of the Dominion of Pakistan. A premature infant, he was put on oxygen treatment in an incubator it was likely an excess of oxygen that exacerbated a visual condition known as retinopathy of prematurity, causing his blindness. Wonder was born Stevland Hardaway Judkins in Saginaw, Michigan, on (his name was later altered to Stevland Morris when his mother married). collaboration "Where Is Our Love Song" (2020), a response to global unrest. Recording less frequently since then, he released A Time to Love (2005) in his fifth decade of activity, during which he also earned his 25th Grammy Award for his and Tony Bennett's duet remake of his own "For Once in My Life." Wonder has continued to tour, most notably performing the entirety of Songs in the Key of Life, across the U.S., and has also released the occasional single, such as the Gary Clark, Jr. The next decade, Wonder remained active as trends came and went, delivering additional platinum albums such as Hotter Than July (1980), In Square Circle (1985), and Characters (1987) amid inductions into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Talking Book (1972) and Innervisions (1973), Top Ten LPs answered with chart-toppers Fulfillingness' First Finale (1974) and the diamond platinum Songs in the Key of Life (1976), were crafted as complex, kaleidoscopic statements enriched by Wonder's pioneering use of synthesizers. In the '70s, Wonder scored five number one hits, from "Superstition" to "Sir Duke," and with the likes of Motown label mate Marvin Gaye and Isaac Hayes brought R&B into the album age as one of the era's greatest musical auteurs. A child prodigy, Wonder first topped the Billboard pop chart at the age of 13 in 1962 with "Fingertips." That mere hint of his talent as a multi-instrumentalist was followed by eight more Top Ten hits, "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" and "My Cherie Amour" among them, before the end of the decade. Combined with his elastic voice, peerless melodic facility, gift for complex arrangements, and taste for lovely ballads, his broad appeal over the decades has been unmatched. Wonder's recordings are a richly eclectic and singular brew of soul, funk, rock & roll, Broadway/Tin Pan Alley-style pop, jazz, reggae, and African elements. The musician's heightened awareness of sound - a consequence of his blindness - has helped him create vibrant music teeming with joyous positivity, even when he's written about heartbreak and addressed issues of race, spirituality, and society in general. The Huxtable family subsequently enter and Stevie gets them to join in with his performance by way of sampling their voices into his Synclavier and finally, singing I Just Called To Say I Love You.Stevie Wonder is a soul music giant, a beloved American icon, and an indisputable genius of popular music. In this video, from an episode of The Cosby Show, he is seen with a Synclavier in the studio. In the late 70s, before samplers and drum machines dominated the soundscapes of hip hop, Stevie was using some of the first samplers, and was influential in his use of other pieces of technology like the Talkbox. You may know him as the guy behind the piano or keyboard with the dark shades, but you may not readily think of Stevie Wonder as a drummer or a sampler. Stevie Wonder, the legendary funk and soul musician, is 63 today.Ī trailblazer from the moment he joined Motown, Stevie Wonder’s career has spanned six decades and seen his work inspire some of the greatest musicians we have ever known (including a certain Michael Jackson, whom he wrote for and duetted with on a few occasions). |
